I was very pleased to be selected as the wedding photographer for Hannah & Dale’s elegant wedding at St Barnabas Church followed by a reception at Beechfield House Hotel in Melksham, Wiltshire.  As their friends and family will testify, Hannah and Dale are lovely people and they make a wonderful couple.  They laugh a lot and it’s infectious so, of course, this is what filled their wedding day.  I started the day at Hannah’s parent’s house to document Hannah and her bridesmaids getting ready, it was the first time I’d seen Hannah’s amazing Stewart Parvin dress.  It was a beast of a dress, in a good way, and Hannah carried it off perfectly!  As preparations came to an end at the house, I headed over to the church to find an anxious groom awaiting his bride.  He didn’t have to wait long as Hannah soon arrived (in the very same car her parent’s used on their wedding day).  The ceremony included readings and songs by friends and family members which was lovely then it was on to the beautiful Beechfield House Hotel for their wedding reception.  The sun shone and the champagne flowed, the lavender bushes filled the air with their sweet scent and guests had a fabulous time.  As a surprise for Dale there was a red vintage tractor parked in front of the hotel (Dale is a farmer) and after a few group photos it was time for guests to take their seats for a full afternoon tea which looked delicious.  I had the opportunity to catch the last of the light for Hannah and Dale’s couples photos early evening before the cutting of the cake and their first dance.  I left them all bopping the night away and having a great time.  Hannah and Dale, may your marriage be filled with the sunshine that graced your wedding day, wishing you every happiness together.
