Rae & Yaw’s wedding happened last summer in Dunster and at Crowcombe Court on a particularly bright and sunny day.  I met up with the girls that morning getting ready at a cottage in the village whilst the boys made their way to the church up the road.  Rae looked beautiful in her gorgeous dress and stunning shoes and Yaw looked very smart in his sharp blue suit.  The church they chose for the ceremony had special meaning to Rae as it had close connections with her family in the past and it was lovely to see her proud grandmother walking her down the aisle that day.  Dunster became awash with colour as Yaw’s family held up traffic in the village to disembark their cars dressed in traditional clothing with lots of amazing pattern and colour, a rare scene in Dunster I’m sure.  After the ceremony it was time to travel to Crowcombe Court, it’s red bricks contrasting nicely with the bright blue sky that day, and guests were welcomed with champagne after walking the long driveway.  Rae & Yaw made a grand entrance in a fabulous classic car then took some time away from guests for their relaxed portraits with me.  The speeches were held outside in the sunshine which was a nice touch before guests were invited in for dinner allowing the evening entertainment to set up… and how entertaining it was with a casino table, photobooth and ‘silent’ disco.  I’m sure guests had a blast and partied the night away!
