Wedding Photography at Bath Abbey and The Pump Room

Steph and Nick’s wedding was a wedding to rival William and Kate’s!  The spectacular venues of Bath Abbey, The Royal Baths and The Pump Room Restaurant pretty much guarantee a beautiful wedding but add to this a generous handful of Naval uniforms (Nick is in the Navy you see), a sword arch ceremony exit, a beautiful lace gown and plenty of cocktails and you have really do have a special wedding day.  The ceremony was beautiful and the vast building really added something special to the amazing atmosphere.  The Abbey was closed to the public for the ceremony and if you know Bath you can imagine the amount of tourists waiting patiently outside, iphone cameras at the ready, waiting to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom – they really did exit to quite a crowd.  After that we were off to a nearby bar for a delightful afternoon tea of cocktails and cake before a champagne reception at the Royal Baths.  A lovely meal awaited guests at The Pump Room Restaurant followed by some great speeches (including some very embarrassing quotes from the Groom’s diary being read aloud to guests  –  but that’s what best men are for eh?).  Soon the band started up for the first dance then the guests quickly followed suit… oh yes, some super enthusiastic moves being made on the dancefloor that night!  Many congratulations to Steph and Nick, I wish you every happiness in your lives together.

Here’s a few of my favourite images from the day …
