Christmas Wedding Photography, Bath

Emma and John chose a romantic time of year for their lovely winter wedding at Priston Mill, just days before Christmas.  There’s extra sparkly magic that surrounds weddings at that time of year, guests are already in ‘Christmas Party Mode’ and the barn at Priston Mill looked beautiful with it’s big Christmas tree, fairy lights and Christmas wreath.  I’d spent the morning with Emma at the B&B she and her bridesmaids were getting ready at and she looked very glamorous in her beautiful lace gown.  Guests were seated in good time and people eagerly awaited Emma’s arrival, John more than most I should think.  He did look a little nervous but when he saw Emma walking up the isle he noticeably relaxed and the couple gave each other some cheeky smiles throughout the ceremony which was lovely to witness.  After much celebrating and plenty of food and wine guests settled into the speeches.  Notable highlights included Emma’s ‘Best Women’,  a witty duo who wrote a funny speech that rhymed throughout and of course, the Best Man’s speech.  Hmmm, this one was interesting; involved a lengthy slideshow of images and ‘risqué’ doesn’t even come close to describing it 🙂   Brave man.  It was all taken in good humour though – I hope!  I left quite late into the evening while guests danced the night away around the Christmas tree.  Many thanks to Emma & John for inviting me to be a part of their special day.  Wishing you both a very long and happy marriage.

Below are a few of my favourites from the day but family and friends of Emma & John are invited to view the full gallery here.
