Modern Wedding Photography at Winkworth Farm, Wiltshire

I was really pleased when Fiona and Chris booked me as their wedding photographer for their wedding at Winkworth Farm in Wiltshire.  They explained they’d spent a while looking at many venues before settling on Winkworth Farm.  It seems they were very picky about their barns and dismissed many because of light levels, outside space, ceiling height and general size but the long search paid off and I have to agree with them that Winkworth is an excellent barn venue; light, bright and spacious, a great modern update on of an old barn as the conversion has been done very well indeed.  We started the day at a cottage near the venue where Fiona and her bridesmaids got ready before I went on to the venue to catch up with the guys.  A great jazz band welcomed guests and the atmosphere was full of anticipation of the day ahead.  Chris look suitably nervous before the ceremony started but visibly calmed once Fiona arrived which was lovely to see.  Obviously there’s a great deal of planning that goes into any wedding but this wedding was really planned down to a T and their hard work paid off.  The whole day went so well, each part linking seamlessly to the next.  Guests dressed as chefs to carve the main course which was great fun, the speeches were very entertaining too and then came the dancing which was executed with much (possibly alcohol fuelled?) enthusiasm and showmanship!  Many congratulations to Fiona & Chris, wishing you a long and happy marriage together.

Well captured – I’m sure the couple were very happy with this set of pictures. I think the dancing shots have a creative energy and capture the fun and movement of the moment. Good work Kristy.ReplyCancel

Great work Kristy, I was recently in Wiltshire and it’s lovely to see another photographer’s perspective on such a beautiful place. Great storytelling, really enjoyed looking through these 🙂ReplyCancel
