Engagement Photography at Historic Sites in Bath

I’m very pleased to share this epic engagement shoot with you.  After meeting at Bath University and falling in love, Alfred and Tinny contacted me to request a very special pre-wedding shoot.  They asked me for an extra long 4hr shoot incorporating many well known sites around Bath with the view to putting all these images in a large album to display at their wedding in Hong Kong next year.  On the day of the shoot the weather was against us but rather than postpone it they decided to carry on regardless (brave!) as a hairdresser and makeup artist had already been booked for that day too.  I have to admit I thought they were a little crazy not to postpone but this is England and what better way to portray this wonderful place than in the wet weather we are so very used to here?  Tinny said ‘if you keep postponing things you’ll never get them done’ and I have to admire her drive.  They were true professionals throughout, not once did they complain about the rain even though by the end of the shoot they were pretty much soaked through.  Tinny, I do hope the dry cleaners got the mud out of your beautiful white dress??  Oh well, all in the name of art I suppose.  Wishing you both the best of luck for your wedding in March…

I developed a bespoke portrait package for Alfred & Tinny’s Bath engagement shoot to suit their needs.  My wedding packages come with a shorter engagement shoot included but I welcome other enquries too and can taylor each shoot to suit.  To see more of my portrait work please take a look at my portrait portfolio or browse my blog.
