Gloucestershire Engagement Photography, Westonbirt

Kezia and James are two very organised people and booked me to shoot their forthcoming wedding at Priston Mill quite a long time ago.  It was great to catch up with them again recently for their pre-wedding shoot at Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury.  It’s such a great place to visit and looks different each season, I highly recommend it.  Anyway, we took a wander around the place, stopping for photos now and again.  I got to hear about how they first met at uni (always interested in that story from couples) aswell as clarify a few of their wedding plans.  It’s nice to see a couple benefit from the engagement shoot session.  Many are nervous at first as it can feel quite intense having a large camera and lens pointing in your direction so it’s great to get used to it before the wedding day arrives.  The pre-wedding shoot gives me a chance to see how couples act infront of the camera and which angles work best for them – everyone is different.  I’m really looking forward to shooting James and Kezia’s wedding this summer, Priston Mill is a venue I’ve shot a few times before and I always enjoy it there.  Fingers crossed the weather picks up a bit before then!
