Tipi Wedding Photography, Bristol

When Natalie and Andy asked me to shoot their Tipi Wedding in Bristol, I was thrilled.  A summer, outdoorsy, tipi, bunting and hay bales type of wedding sounded relaxed and fun.  Guests gathered in the sunshine outside the Church in Tickenham where Andy nervously awaited Natalie’s arrival.  The ceremony was lovely with some really thoughtful words from Rev Tony Roake and two touching readings by guests.  After that it was time for us to make our way to the surrounding fields for shots of the happy couple before joining guests back at Natalie’s parent’s house for the celebrations to commence.  The sun shone brightly and guests had a great time then settled in the tipi for the speeches and wow, some speeches they were too!  Personal moments recalled, caring words spoken, a few tears shed – and then on to the best man’s speech!  He was armed with numerous stories to embarrass Andy with, who sat head in hands waiting for the ordeal to be over as his trusted friend recounted time and time again how Andy enjoyed dressing up (and undressing on occasion!) at various parties through the years.  Andy’s Dad found it hilarious, as did the guests 🙂  Natalie and Andy, I thought you make a lovely couple, thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your special day and I wish you a long and happy marriage together.

Below are a few of my favourites from the day but family and friends of Natalie and Andy are invited to view the full gallery here.
