Goldbrick House Wedding Photography, Bristol

Lisa & Alex’s Bristol Wedding was an upside down, back to front sort of wedding (in a good way) held at Goldbrick House.  If wedding photographers could plan a wedding day, it would be like theirs.  We used the great light outdoors around Bristol for their couples shots and a few group shots before heading to Goldbrick House for the ceremony and wedding reception.  It’s great when couple’s mix it up a bit and this wedding had no bridesmaids, no best man nor first dance… but instead it had a Great British Wedding Bake Off Competition!!  Not many people can say that about their wedding day can they?  Each guest bought with them a lovingly prepared, delicious and beautiful cake which entered them into the competition.  There was, of course, the taste testing which everyone took part in regardless of the fact they’d just enjoyed a three course meal (there’s always room for cake… right?) then some voting before the rosettes were given out.  It seemed to me a really fun wedding, smiles all day long and even some hysterics through the ceremony!  Lisa & Alex, may the rest of your years together be as full of fun and smiles as your wedding day was.

Scroll down to see a selection of my favourites from their joyous day.  For friends and family of Lisa & Alex there’s the full selection here in a passworded gallery.
