Relaxed Engagement Photography, City of Bath

I met up with Caroline & Grant recently for their pre-wedding shoot at a park in Bath.  I’ll be their wedding photographer at their Bath wedding in the next few weeks and this portrait shoot was part of their wedding package.  It was a quiet morning there and we almost enjoyed the park to ourselves except for a black cat that followed us all the way around and repeatedly attempted to photobomb this lovely couple.  I like cats, I own two, but this one overstayed his/her welcome!  Possibly it was a sign of good luck though so we didn’t shoo it away too much.  Anyway, it was great to spend time with Caroline & Grant who were naturals infront of the camera.  What I love about this job (arm chair phsychologist that I am) is getting to know each couple and seeing how they interact together.  All the couples I work with are undoubtedly in love as they’ve agreed to get married but in the case of Caroline and Grant their love for each other felt extra apparent.  Their connection is very strong and they seem quite similar in many ways.  There’s an aura of calm and certainty around them which felt very peaceful.  I’m thoroughly looking forward to their relaxed and friendly wedding later this month…
